Travelling to DublinTravel by airMost European destinations are within two hours’ flying time of Dublin. For information about Dublin airport please visit http://www.dublinairport.com For flight information at Dublin Airport Transport to and from Dublin Airport Dublin Airport is located in the north of the city, around 10kms from the Centre. There is currently no rail link from Dublin city centre to the airport. The quickest and most cost efficient way to travel is by bus: the Airlink Express and Aircoach and are the most popular bus services. Both buses depart from the bus station in front of Terminal 1 arrivals exit doors. Once outside, the station is located on the right side of the gates. Although the buses offer slightly different features, they both pass through the heart of the city O'Connell Street St. The Airlink 747 is available from 5:00am to 11:30pm while the Aircoach 700 is available 24/7. One way tickets cost 6€ and 7€ respectively, while both buses need around 40 minutes to reach central Dublin. Find out more information about bus links to and from the airport here: https://www.dublinairport.com/to-from-the-airport/by-bus Taxis to and from Dublin Airport Taxis are metered and therefore the price will depend on where you are going and the traffic etc. If going to the city centre, allow 30 mins and should be approximately 30 EUR, again depending on traffic.

If you are staying longer than 48 hours, consider purchasing a “leap card” which will give you access to all public transport and also some airport to city centre busses.
